April Hardeman’s connection to the horse industry started long before her work in insurance. As a lifelong horsewoman, she understands the realities of owning, competing, and managing horses, not just from the outside, but from years of personal involvement in the sport. That firsthand experience is what led her to focus on equine insurance, where she can help fellow horse owners protect the animals, farms, and businesses they have worked so hard to build.

April has been deeply involved in the combined driving community for several years, serving in a variety of roles both in and out of the arena. She has worked as a scorer, groom, steward, and organizer at recognized competitions, and was the Driving Director for Live Oak International, the largest combined driving event in the United States. Being part of the sport at this level has given her a clear understanding of the risks, responsibilities, and financial investments that come with owning and competing horses.

In addition to her work at competitions, April has spent years working with equine businesses in marketing, operations, and online strategy. She has helped trainers, brands, and horse professionals grow their businesses, which gives her a broader perspective when helping clients choose insurance coverage. She understands that for many people, horses are not only a passion, but also a livelihood.

April’s approach to insurance is straightforward and personal. She believes horse owners deserve clear answers, honest guidance, and coverage that fits their real situation, not a one size fits all policy. Whether someone owns one horse at home or runs a full farm or training operation, her goal is to make sure they feel confident that they are properly protected.
